ABOUT us
Therapy for the parts of life that don’t fit neatly into a box.
At Brick City Therapy, we like to think outside the box. We believe therapy is about more than just managing life or getting through a difficult season. It’s about understanding yourself more fully—how your history has shaped you, how your relationships affect you, what your nervous system has learned to expect, and why certain patterns can be so difficult to change.
We specialize in relationships, trauma, and attachment, taking an approach that looks beyond the surface. Rather than reducing someone to a diagnosis, a problem, or a single chapter of their story, we’re interested in understanding the bigger picture—who you are, what has shaped you, and how all of those pieces connect.
Our work is grounded in the belief that healing happens in relationships: the relationship you have with yourself, the relationships you have with other people, and the relationship you build with your therapist.
We take that relationship seriously. Because meaningful change doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It happens when there is enough safety, trust, curiosity, and connection to begin looking honestly at what’s underneath—and enough support to try something different.
We Look Beneath the Surface
Most of us develop ways of surviving, protecting ourselves, connecting, and making sense of the world long before we have the words to explain why. Sometimes those strategies continue to serve us. Sometimes they don’t.
You may know exactly what you want to change and still find yourself repeating the same patterns. You may understand where something comes from but feel like understanding it hasn’t been enough to change it. You may be successful in many areas of your life while struggling with intimacy, trust, boundaries, conflict, or feeling truly at home in yourself. This is where our work begins.
At Brick City Therapy, we are interested in what is happening underneath the presenting problem—the attachment patterns, protective strategies, nervous system responses, relational dynamics, and experiences that shape how you move through the world. We don’t believe in rushing past those layers. We get curious about them.

Our Approach
Our clinicians bring different backgrounds, personalities, and areas of expertise to their work, but we share a common foundation. We are relationally and systems-orientated therapists who are trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and deeply curious about people.
Our work draws from a range of evidence-informed approaches and clinical frameworks such as EMDR, attachment-based work, somatic psychology, parts work, and relational work.
We don’t believe people’s experiences can be put neatly in a box.
Instead, we consider:
A Practice built Around Relationships
Brick City Therapy was created with the belief that the quality of the therapeutic relationship matters.
Our clinicians are not interchangeable. Each person brings their own clinical experience, perspective, personality, and way of working. Finding the right therapist is part of the process.
That’s why we want you to get to know the people behind Brick City Therapy.
You can learn about each clinician’s background, areas of specialization, approach to therapy, and the kinds of clients they feel most connected to serving.
Because choosing a therapist isn’t just about credentials.
It’s about finding someone you can imagine doing this work with.
What We Believe
COME home TO YOURSELF.
Maybe you know exactly why you’re here. Maybe you just know that something isn’t working anymore. Maybe you’ve spent years understanding yourself intellectually and are ready for something to actually feel different.
Wherever you’re starting, you don’t have to have the perfect words or a clear plan. You can start where you are.
We’ll meet you there.
The way we relate to ourselves, other people, and our past shapes how we move through the world. That’s why we don’t treat symptoms in isolation. We look at the whole picture—your relationships, history, patterns, protective strategies, and the life you’re trying to build.
